Continental Aftermarket & Services connects with end customers through its numerous partner workshops. Their employees are experts in all aspects of vehicle technology and mobility – and are on hand to offer their customers help and advice.

In order to make partner workshops more competitive, Continental relies on perfectly qualifying and training its employees – so that the experts in the workshops are always up to date as competence partners. For this purpose, the Continental IAM Training Center offers a wide range of lectures and classroom trainings, practical videos, blended learning and online trainings. This offering is all administered in moreContinental, the online portal and LMS (learning management system) of the TrainingCenter.

With moreContinental – that uses hiveQ as LMS – Continental is counts on a qualification platform that enables a wide variety of training approaches: self-paced online learning on demand, face-to-face events, classic elearnings, and remote trainings in the virtual classroom.

It is important that new employees in the workshops have quick and easy access to the TrainingCenter. To this end, workshops can register new users in moreContinental from their first workday.

moreContinental is available in several European languages and is integrated into the IT infrastructure of the Continental Corporation via numerous interfaces.

Online Training – Expertise on Demand

Continental offers a comprehensive portfolio for training on demand concerning its core topic: Brakes. Here, the expert knowledge of the Training Center meets the didactic and media experience of IM|S – and creates a portfolio with trainings that make learning a real success.

At Continental, brakes are a very important topic where the competence of workshops is crucial. Practical online training courses teach the basics of brakes and users check their newly acquired knowledge hands-on in a virtual racing game. The online training is followed by classroom sessions that provide relevant information on brakes for all levels from beginner to expert. Back at the plant, learners benefit from object-based training on electronic parking brakes – a training that provides insights that would otherwise remain hidden.

Create your own online training with online checks

In cooperation with IM|S, the Continental IAM Training Center creates additional online trainings: Based on templates developed by IM|S, the Training Center creates its own online trainings and online knowledge checks. For this purpose, Continental uses the Content Builder – the authoring tool by IM|S – and provides workshops with relevant training content quickly and efficiently in precisely the languages they need.

Continental is IM|S project partner since 2014.
